This Privacy Policy describes how leite ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you install or use the leite Offer+ application ("the App") in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

1. Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account via the authorized Shopify API scopes. To provide our core functionalities, we collect the minimum necessary data:

  • Merchant Profile Data: We access basic store information, including the store owner's name, primary email address, and physical address, to establish your account and provide necessary administrative communications.

  • Product and Variant Data: To render custom product detail layouts and enable dynamic price updates on the storefront, we read your product catalogs, prices, inventory states, and product variant details.

  • Cart and Checkout Data: To accurately calculate bundle discounts and ensure seamless cart ID synchronization during checkout processes, the App temporarily processes cart tokens and storefront session data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We strictly utilize the collected data for the following operational purposes:

  • To deliver custom product variant selection logic and render visually optimized offer components on your storefront.

  • To synchronize cart states and validate combined product offers (bundles) accurately.

  • To provide technical support, troubleshoot UI extension conflicts, and maintain the App's stability.

3. Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third parties. Information is only shared with our secure, compliant infrastructure providers (e.g., our cloud server hosting) solely to operate the App. We may also disclose your information if required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or lawful requests.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Your store's operational data is retained only as long as leite Offer+ remains installed on your store. Upon uninstallation, Shopify triggers mandatory data deletion webhooks. We guarantee that all associated store data will be permanently erased from our active databases within 48 hours of receiving the shop/redact webhook notification.

5. Your Privacy Rights

If you or your customers are located in specific jurisdictions (such as the EEA or California), you retain the right to access, correct, or delete personal information. leite Offer+ is fully integrated with Shopify's standard privacy webhooks (customers/data_request and customers/redact) to automatically route and process any data subject requests submitted via your Shopify Admin.

6. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect operational or regulatory changes. Continued use of the App following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
